Hey everyone!
We've been getting a lot of e-mails and messages from people asking for tutorials for certain skintones, hair styles, and clothing crafts. I am doing my best to work on the tutorials that are in my capability. However, when it comes to make-up for dark skin tones or teasing hair tutorials...my hands are tied. I am pale as the day is long and my hair is always in dread extensions so it is up to others to make these types of tutorials.
Now I can't hold people at gun-point and get them to make a tutorial for me. Well, I could but it is probably not a good idea. So until some of those people step up and submit a tutorial, it won't be on the site.
So what can we do about this problem??
Promote!
The more people who know about the site and submit pics for the site, the more we all benefit! So if we get the word out there, we have a much better chance at getting a large variety of tutorials and pics up onto the site. So if you want to see more DIY tutorials, more make-up ideas, learn more hairstyling tricks...then promote the heck out of this site and we are bound to find some people who will share this wonderful info with us.
By posting a banner on your Myspace or blog or website, or simply telling some friends about the site, you are helping Squeakmachine.com to expand and really become the ultimate alternative fashion resource. The more people we have checking out the site, the more potential contributors we get! And that not only helps me out...but most of all....it helps all of you!
So check out our links section on the site for Squeakmachine.com banners. Thank you to everyone who has already been showing their support by promoting the site! You guys are the best!

Site Launch
The day has come!
Squeakmachine.com is officially a go.
Thank you all for being so patient. I know this was a long time coming and I'm sure some of you doubted if we would ever get this site up. Please continue to extend your patience over the next couple months as some of the areas of the site still need some major expansion. The galleries are still incomplete for example. We threw a couple photos up in each section to be sure that they work. However, I still have hundreds of images that you guys have submitted over the past year to go through, edit, and add to the site. This will be done for the next site update in just a few months.
Please keep checking back! We have big plans for this site.
In the meantime, have fun looking around and feel free to submit pictures and tutorials of your own. I can only do so much myself. It is up to you guys to make this site the ultimate alternative fashion resource!
